passing-strangers: Initial drawings inspired by my primary and secondary research, drawn with black felt-tip pen and permanent marker. i kept with a black-and-white colour scheme and refined graphic style because i am thinking in terms of printmaking, as these are qualities necessary for successful linocut prints. The top half of the page uses my themes of urban environment, especially social/suburban housing, and travel, whereas the bottom half focuses on the abstract geometric forms found in Brutalist/Modernist architecture. i feel these images would make interesting prints regardless of context.
